Over the past two days, The Abbey School welcomed 5th Class pupils from The Monastery, Gaelscoil Tiobráid Árann, Lisvernane, Donaskeigh and Galbally for an engaging introduction to secondary school life. During their visit, the students had the opportunity to explore a range of subjects, including Art, Science, and Woodwork, giving them a hands-on experience of what the curriculum at The Abbey has to offer. They were also given a guided tour of the school campus to familiarise themselves with our facilities and learning environment and a goody bag. Students enjoyed lunch in the school canteen and got to experience the welcoming atmosphere that defines daily life at The Abbey.
We are delighted to have hosted these pupils and look forward to welcoming many of them back in the future as members of our school community. Events like these are a key part of our commitment to building strong links with our local primary schools and supporting students in their transition to post-primary education.
