SEAI visit
Today we had an enjoyable visit from Áine Ní Fhlartharta from the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI). She delivered a series of workshops to different classes throughout the day.
During the sessions, she introduced the pupils to Guzzler, a character who wasn’t very good at saving energy. Through discussion and activities, the children explored simple and practical ways to reduce energy use. They also carried out experiments and observed a mini solar panel in action, helping them to see how renewable energy works in practice.
At the end of the workshop, the pupils shared their own energy-saving tips with Guzzler, showing what they had learned about using energy more responsibly.
