Today we held the finals of our own School league. Four teams containing a mixture of boys and girls from 4th to 6th classes took part. We decided to organise this in-school competition as Inter-school competitions are postponed for the moment. There was great excitement for both our A and B finals. In the B final Kerry played Tyrone with a narrow victory for Kerry on a score line 1-3 to 1-0 The A final was contested by Mayo and Dublin. There was end to end excitement with some great defending by both teams. Eventually Mayo grabbed a winning goal to the delight of their players. Everyone loved the competition which has been running for the past 4 weeks.
