Today we were delighted once again to take part in the Ger Power Memorial Hurling Tournament. It was a most enjoyable day with schools competing in both the A and B competitions, giving everyone a chance to get involved.
There was a great mix of skill and talent on display, with some excellent team and individual performances.
Many thanks to the Power family and friends for organising such a successful event and for inviting us to participate.
Congratulations to Knocklong NS, winners of the A competition, and Anglesboro NS, winners of the B competition. Well done also to Cullen Walsh and Eric Hanrahan on receiving awards for their excellent performances.
This tournament is a great way to remember a great sporting and hurling man.
