Today we took part in the Peggy Daly Tournament in memory of Peggy (RIP), a much-loved SNA in Lisvernane NS and a familiar face to our Confirmation classes in Galbally.
Both schools showed some fantastic football skills, with Lisvernane NS coming out strong winners on the day. That didn’t take away from the fun, enjoyment, and sportsmanship on display! 🌟
Our younger pupils also got their chance to play in a Junior match where they too showed some excellent skills. Well done to Michael Sheehan who received a trophy for player of the match. 🙌
After the games, children from both schools relaxed and chatted in the school yard, while our staff enjoyed some delicious home baking and a well earned cuppa 🍰☕.
