Today both our boys & girls teams played in the
#cumannambunscoil finals. The boys had a great win against Athlacca.
They played excellent football with some amazing skills on display. The girls were up next but lost out to a very strong Athlacca girls team. However the girls can be very proud of themselves and they also gave a great display.
Both boys and girls then played Anglesboro NS in a friendly game. This ensured all 44 students got game time. There was great excitement afterwards as Patrick Hayes and Lee Meade were presented with the cup. And the excitement continued back at school where the teams received a guard of honour from the younger students. The day finished with a pizza party. Well done everyone and especially Mr O Meara and Mr Kearney Junior who helped coach the children to a very high standard together with Mrs Byrne's and Mr Kearney.
